We met at the IFC office and transportation was provided to the event. We began at Rosabianca Vineyards in Northford, Ct., a family run Italian vineyard. Rosabianca Vineyards is the culmination of a dream and a strong family heritage brought over from Amalfi Italy to the shores of America over sixty years ago. We enjoyed a private wine tasting of Italian wines by Maria the owners niece, who was alot of fun and taught us about the wines and the winery. The owner Charlie was there as well visiting with the guests and answering all kinds of interesting questions about the winery.
After the wine tasting we departed to App's Ristorante in West Haven for a three course private meal of each guest's choosing. App's opened their doors in 1938. Today 79 years later, they are a third generation family owned and operated restaurant, their recipes are simple Italian authentic classics. The staff and food were spectacular!
A great time was had by all that attended the Referral Event!

Milford Elks Holiday Food Baskets
IFC once again participated in the Milford Elks Christmas Food Basket Event in December 2016.
Every year the Milford Elks raise money to buy, pack, and distribute food baskets at Christmas time to the less-fortunate in our community.
Each basket contains a 5 lb ham, a bag of potatoes, carrots, apples, and onions. Then there is the cans of soup and vegetables, along with oatmeal, a dozen eggs, a loaf of bread, hot chocolate, canned veggies, pancake mix, margarine, macaroni and cheese, jello, and of course candy canes. It’s enough to feed a family of four for 2-3 days.
Rich, Kim & their dog Samantha volunteered their time on a very snowy day and delivered boxes of food to homes of the less fortunate in the Milford Community. It is a wonderful event and we look forward to assisting the Milford Elks again this year!

The Plot
Chester Hadlyme has been hired as an auctioneer of the Red Shecky estate We attended the auction of the last painting done by the legendary show man before he died. But on the starry night of the auction a murder happens right before our eyes! We saw the characters take a drink before the auction, glasses were swapped and Bud Dumbwiser was poisoned!
B.B. Beatrice - If you look at any product in your grocery store it says "We're Beatrice". The business generates millions of dollars every day, supporting the B.B. Beatrice quest to own everything!
The Killer was: Red Shecky Jr.
Why? He wanted HER Dead! BB Beatrice!!
His long time friend Bud Dumbwiser got the poisoned glass instead of Beatrice!
Did any of our guests guess who the killer was?
YES!
Congratulations to IFC Clients - Nancy & Don Kosa, and Mary Ellen Moricoli, great detective work!

February 2014 - Referral Appreciation Event
On Saturday, February 22, 2014 we transported 22 guests to a Private Party at the Historic Manor House Inn situated in the quintessential New England Village of Norfolk right in the heart of the Green Woods. This little center of culture is part of the distinct charms of Connecticut’s Litchfield County, and is in close proximity to the Berkshires and New York’s Columbia and Dutchess Counties. The popularity of this town as a resort area began in the 1870’s when prominent businessmen built huge houses forming the backbone of a summer colony. They were attracted by the rural beauty, lush woods, cool mountain air and summer concerts.
In 1898, one of these men, Charles Spofford, commissioned well-known architect, E.K. Rossiter to build a Victorian Tudor mansion, which is now known as the Manor House now an elegant bed and breakfast. Everyone enjoyed looking at all the historic pieces in the library, living room and beautiful terrace overlooking the spacious property. It was a warm, relaxing evening with the two fireplaces blazing. Guests were served delicious home made food, drinks, coffee, tea and dessert. During the party our guests wrapped up in fur blankets and enjoyed private horse & carriage rides through the town in an old fashioned white vis-à-vis carriage with horses Nip and Tuck from Loon Meadow Farm.
A great big "thank you" to our clients who qualified for this event by sending us referrals in the last six months. It was a wonderful evening spending time with our guests. We look forward to our next Referral Appreciation Event!

August 2013 - Referral Appreciation Event
On Sunday August 11, 2013 we hosted 24 guests at a Private Sunset Cruise through the historic Thimble Islands located off the coast of Branford, CT. It was a bright sunny day without a cloud in the sky and the water was calm. Captain John chartered us for a two hour cruise throughout the 25 inhabited Thimble Islands. First Mate, Matt and Second Mate, Michelle served our guests cocktails and horsd'oeuvres while relaxing aboard the 44 foot Sea Mist. Our guests enjoyed the cruise on the lower and upper decks many taking pictures of the beautiful sights, elaborate homes and at the end of the evening the magnificent sunset.
The Thimbles were first discovered in 1614 by Adrian Block, who discovered Block Island. These unique islands were used for everything from farming to quarrying its famous pink granite, and bootlegging to hiding Captain Kidd's treasure. Captain Kidd sailed here in 1665.
Thank you to the clients who sent us referrals in the last 6 months and qualified for the event. It was a great day relaxing and visiting with our guests. We look forward to our next Referral Appreciation Event!
September 2012 - Referral Appreciation Event
Our first Referral Appreciation Event was held at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, CT. Our 20 guests began with a tour of the vineyard which gave them a chance to get close to the wine barrels, tanks and the private cellar library dating back to 1987. Two of their wine experts spoke about the wines and our guests enjoyed a winetasting with an array of delicious hors d'oeuvres in the tasting room. At Chamard they specialize in the "elegantfarm" feel and source their ingredients from local farms in the area to provide freshproducts.
We enjoyed the wonderful experience at Chamard and sharing it with our guests. Thank you to our clients that brought us referrals and qualified for the event.
